NPJ Bend Summer Camps are a great way to pack in 4 straight days of high-level volleyball training in 2 separate weeks. In each 3 hour session, NPJ coaches will break down each of the different skills for players to become well-rounded athletes. Positions, rotations and strategy will also be covered throughout the week, with a heavy emphasis on game play scenarios.
Beginner - These players are new or relatively new to the game. They could have no experience or maybe have played a year or two of rec-type ball. Even players who have 1 year of club or school experience can still be beginners, and a good indicator of a player's level is serving in/out ratio, 1st contact pass vs error and hitting vs sending a free ball over.
Intermediate - These players have had several years of school or club experience, and understand the different positions & rotations. Players are working on all skills, but usually have a preferred position where they can most contribute to the success of their team. Intermediate players are working to run a competitive offense and to gain an understanding of how to attack over rather than send over.
