North Pacific Juniors is the #1 volleyball club in the Pacific Northwest and ranks #52 on the Volleyball US Club Rankings top 100 list for 2024.  With locations in Salem, Bend, Seattle and Portland, we host over 70 teams, making us the largest club in the Northwest.  This gives our athletes the opportunity to work with the best coaches, and compete against the best teams both regionally and nationally across all age groups.

Our innovative Ecological Coaching Method provides an environment for our athletes/teams to grow and flourish in a complex competitive surrounding.  By coaching our athletes in this way, our success at the highest levels has proven that a supported focus on the outcome will always supersede repetitive non game-like drilling.  This is the same methodology used by the USA Women's National Team that brought them to first to a Bronze medal (2016) and then to Gold (2020).

Our unique coaching method intersects perfectly with a well balanced, and vastly experienced coaching staff.  The coaching staff is lead by USA National Team coach and NPJ Director of Volleyball Mike Gee, and is loaded with both college and high school coaches from across the Pacific Northwest.  Our coaches are all driven by the same desire to share the game they love, and create a fun and supportive leaving environment for their players.

At NPJ you will get the best hands on experience when it comes to helping you play volleyball at the collegiate level. We are motivated to help each one of our athletes get connected with coaches and will help provide film, stats, etc.

We are proud to say every athlete in our club that has wanted to play at the collegiate level has had the opportunity to do so and we do not plan on breaking that achievement! We have over 250 NPJ alumni who have accepted scholarships and roster spots with college programs nationwide. Our goal is simple and steadfast- to help you reach yours!

NPJ players get National Level Exposure by playing at top ranked tournaments across the country that are attended by the top NCAA D1, D2, D3, NAIA and Junior College coaches.  We strategically build our tournament schedule to give our teams the opportunity to test themselves against the best teams in the country, while simultaneously being placed in front of the the best coaches on the planet!  

In addition, our unique partnership with Hudl gives all our players and coaches the ability to reach those college coaches and build a unique player profile to help them get noticed and recruited!  It is our mission to help provide the expertise and exposure every athlete needs to play collegiate volleyball.  With the national level exposure at tournaments across the country, next level recruiting platform partnerships and strong relationships with college programs nationwide, 252 NPJ athletes have accepted scholarships to continue their athletic and academic careers!

NPJ is fortunate to have our own practice facilities in each location to make it convenient for practices and trainings!

Practices will be two times a week between 4:00-9:00 on Monday- Thursday. Each team will have a practice schedule of Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday. Practices for 12U will be 1.5 hours and 13U- 18U will be 2 hour practices.

We have a spirit store for all of our members! The online store will open in November and gear will be sent straight to your house.

Multi-sport participation is beneficial physically and mentally. Playing many sports allows you to use different muscle groups, which helps you become more versatile, and can help with injury prevention. We believe it is healthy to mix it up and have kids focus on different activities, and playing multiple sports can help relieve pressure if volleyball is their "main" sport.

It is important to us that all athletes have the opportunity to participate in their school sports, even it it conflicts with the club volleyball season. We will work with all athletes to make sure they are supported in all in-season school sports they want to participate in. We feel it is very important for our athletes to experience all school sports seasons they want to participate in.

NPJ does not believe in forcing athletes to choose club volleyball over other sports, nor do we believe in pressuring athletes to quit other sports that conflict/overlap with the club season.
